In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to Sabotage Westport Infrastructur at Westport and convince them to abandon Westport for the side quest ‘The Brain Benders of Auntie’s Choice’ in The Outer Worlds 2.

To begin, travel northeast of Fairfield to reach Westport. Once there, go to the largest building in the settlement and look for Vigilant Hogarth on the second-floor balcony and ask him to abandon Westport.
Before you keep going with this quest, make sure to finish the side quest “The Saga of Malfunctioning Mechanicals”, because you won’t be able to do it later.
Sabotage Infrastructure
To persuade Vigilant Hogarth into abandoning Westport, you’ll need to either sabotage its generator, broadcast facility, and water supply.
After speaking with Vigilant Hogarth, look to the table on your right and pick up the Keycard – Westport Broadcast Facility.
Sabotage Loudspeaker
Exit the main building and go to the right side. You’ll see a building with a radio dish on top. Go to this building and use your keycard to enter, then head to the back room and use the terminal. Pick the option to overwrite the Protectorate broadcasts and sabotage the signal.
Sabotage Generator
Now, head to the generator room on the southeast side of the area, which can only be entered from the northeast side.
Climb the boxes by the wall, then drop through the broken section to get inside.
Once there, inspect the Main Power Generator and choose “Use the Galvanic Subverter” to destroy it. Alternatively, use Explosives to destroy it. Finally, pick up the Generator Station Keycard from the nearby box and use it to exit the room.
Sabotage Water
Leave the Westport and follow the outer wall and head north. Defeat the enemy in the area and interact with the Water Supply. Choose “Add Skin Powder to the purifier” to sabotage the water. Refer to the map below.
Finally, return to Vigilant Hogarth and choose the dialogue option telling him that Westport’s infrastructure has completely fallen apart.
