Starting Location
To begin Missive From the Lost Days, travel to the southern part of Guardian Estates in Golden Ridge. There, you’ll find a Secretive Elder camped on a small hill (see the location below). Talk to him and accept his request to recover two valuable documents from the Guardian Estates to start the quest.
Gain Entry into Guardian Estates
To enter the Guardian Estates undetected, go north from the Secretive Elder’s camp. As you walk ahead, look to your right, and you’ll see a big hole in the side of the mountain. Go inside the hole and climb carefully up the rocky path. When you reach the top of the hill, you’ll find a secret way into the Guardian Estates that helps you stay hidden.
Once you’re in the courtyard of the Guardian Estates, you can go left to enter the tram station and find the first set of documents, or head right and climb the stairs to the estate to locate the second set of documents.
The first set of documents is a Suspicious Datapad located in the tram station on the left side of the courtyard. Head inside the station and then enter the room on the right, where you’ll see a row of lockers. Check the first locker to find the Suspicious Datapad.
Tip: Defeat Edward and Moreton Dunsany inside the Manion to instantly complete the “Battle with the Beastly Brigands” quest.
The second set of documents is located inside the estate. From the courtyard, move to the right side and climb the stairs leading up to the mansion. Enter through the main door and continue straight to reach a stained-glass room, where Edward Dunsany and Moreton Dunsany are talking.
On a table near Edward, you’ll find the Tattered Ledger. Collect it to finish the second objective.
