How to Unlock Meridian Touch
At the start of the area, you’ll find Yan Qiren, an NPC frozen in stone. This location is southwest of the Stonewash Strand teleporter, as shown in the map below. You’ll find him surrounded by dozens of statues he has carved. Approach him to start the quest and obtain the Meridian Touch art.
Speak to him and he’ll immediately mistake you for his son, urging you to use Meridian Touch to break his petrification. Follow the on-screen prompts to target the acupoints causing his condition.
How to use Meridian Touch
When the Meridian Touch interface appears, you’ll be given three diagnostic options to choose from: Immobilized, Overjoyed, and Itchy. Each represents a different acupoint imbalance, but only one will help Yan Qiren. Select Immobilized, as this is the condition actually causing his petrification.
Once you successfully free his immobilization, Yan Qiren will break free from his stone-like state, and this should conclude the quest, and you’ll receive your reward for helping him.
