Pink and Red Bolete are important promotion materials used to increase a character’s level cap. Pink Bolete is needed to raise the cap from level 20 to 40, while Red Bolete is used to unlock the level cap from 40 to 60. This guide explains where to find both materials and how the upgrade system works.
What Pink and Red Boletes Are Used For in Arknights Endfield
When a character reaches level 20, that becomes their max level cap. To go beyond it, you need to unlock the next promotion through the Ability Matrix on the character screen.
From levels 20 to 40, you need:
- T-Creds
- Protodisk
- Pink Bolete
From levels 40 to 60, you need:
- T-Creds
- Protodisk
- Red Bolete
T-Creds and Protodisk are earned naturally through gameplay and domains. Pink and Red Bolete must be collected from the world.
Where to Find Pink Bolete
Pink Bolete appears as rare growth nodes on the map. These nodes refresh once every 24 hours, so it is important to collect them daily.
Hub Area
You can find Pink Bolet early in the main hub region. Look for rare growth icons on the map. Each node usually gives 6 Pink Bolete.
Valley Pass
Another early location is Valley Pass, on the left side of the map. This area is harder to reach at first. You need to loop around the area until you can jump across to the node. Once unlocked, you can also activate a zipline to return easily later. This location also gives 6 Pink Bolete.
Note: Originium Science Park also contains Pink Bolete.
Where to Find Red Bolete
Red Bolete is required to unlock the level cap from 40 to 60. Each upgrade costs 5 Red Bolete. You will first find Red Bolete after progressing past Originium Science Park. These are specifically located in Origin Loderspring area, as shown below.
