Kodama are small green spirits. Finding them increases the number of Elixirs you recover at Shrines and unlocks Kodama Blessings that give permanent buffs. In this guide, we show you step by step all Kodama locations in the Shimabara area of Nioh 3.
Kodama 1
Kodama 1 is hidden on the roof section of a second-floor building. Begin by moving to the location marked on the map. Once you arrive, stop near the building and look upward. You will be able to spot the Kodama resting on the sloped roof area.
To reach it, move to the left side of the building. There you will find stacked hay cubes placed beside the wall. Use these hay cubes as steps. Jump carefully from one cube to the next until you gain enough height to reach the edge of the roof.
Once you land on the sloped section, walk along the roof path until you reach the Kodama and interact with it to collect it.
Kodama 2
Kodama 2 is located inside the main shrine building in this area. Approach the shrine from the south side and enter through the main opening. Once inside, take a left turn and continue moving forward. Look for the room on the left side. The Kodama is waiting inside that room.
Kodama 3
Kodama 3 is located inside a room at the location indicated on the map. The Kodama is located in plain sight.
Kodama 4
The fourth Kodama is found at the location marked on the map, but it cannot be reached right away because a barrier blocks the path. To remove this obstacle, you must use a cannon. Access to the cannon becomes available only after completing the quest Beat of the Underworld. Once the quest is finished and the cannon is unlocked, approach it and carefully aim toward the barrier. Fire the cannon to destroy the blockage and open the way forward.
After the barrier is broken, proceed into the newly accessible area to locate and collect the Kodama.
