Starting Location
First, travel to Sunpetal Plains and look for the Classy Old Woman. Speak with her, and she will ask you to bring back a Velocidrome Egg. You can find her near the road on the eastern side of Sunpetal Plains. These eggs can only be found inside monster dens where Velocidrome nests are located.
How to Get Velocidrome Egg in Monster Hunter Stories 3
Once the quest begins, your objective is to explore the nearby monster dens and search for the Velocidrome egg. These eggs can be found inside nests located within these dens, but you will need to identify the right one among several eggs.
There are two primary methods for obtaining a Velocidrome Egg. You can either search the monster dens directly or defeat a Velocidrome and make it retreat into its own den, which increases your chances of finding the correct den without bothering to look in different dens randomly for the egg.
These dens appear as small cave entrances on the map. Refer to the location below of one of the dens. Enter the den and follow the path until you reach the nest area. Inside the nest, you will find several eggs in the nest. You need to pick up a Velocidrome Egg that has a blue shell and covered in red or orange spots.
After picking up the egg, immediately start running toward the exit of the den. If the monster guarding the area wakes up, it will begin chasing you through the den. To avoid getting caught, grab the egg quickly and head straight for the exit.
After escaping with the egg, return to Sunpetal Plains and find the Classy Old Woman again. Speak with her and hand over the Velocidrome Egg to complete the quest.
