The “Extract the Buried Relic” objective in the Sealed in Stone quest can be a bit confusing if you are not sure what to do next. In this guide, you will learn exactly how to extract the relic and how to progress the quest smoothly without getting stuck in Crimson Desert.
Starting Location
Sealed in Stone is a faction quest under the House Roberts category in Crimson Desert. After clearing the enemies at Karin Quarry and making the area safe, head inside and look for Erich. He is standing near a tent marked with a blue flag. Talk to him, and he will explain that the regular crane operator is unavailable, so he needs your help to operate the crane and extract the buried relic.
How to Operate the Crane and Complete Sealed in Stone
After talking to Erich, he will give you the Crane Control Room Key. Step to the elevator next to him and use the handwheel to raise the elevator and take you up to the crane control room.
When you reach the top, use the key to open the control room door. Go inside and interact with the control wheel to start using the crane.
Your goal is to pull out the big square stone buried in the quarry. First, move the crane hook so it is right above the stone in the pit. Then lower the hook down onto the stone. When the hook is in the right spot, the crane will grab the big square stone automatically.
After that, lift the big square stone. The stone will shake a little, but keep lifting until it is fully pulled out. Once the stone is removed, the Sealed in Stone quest will be complete.
