Kathan is the next NPC we need to interrogate in the Extinguishing the Last Flames questline in Crimson Desert. In this guide, you will learn where to find Kathan and what to inspect to complete the investigation without getting stuck.
Starting Location
Kathan is situated in a camp located just outside the Western Wall of the main camp, south of the Unicorn Cliff. Speak with him, and ask him if he knows anything about the attack on the merchant guild.
Examine the guard’s letter
To gather your first piece of evidence, start by finding the Guard’s Letter. It is near the anvil, just to the left of Kathan. Walk over and check the crates behind the anvil to find the letter. Pick it up and read it carefully. The letter is written by a guard to his wife. In it, he talks about his work with a merchant.
Examine the guard’s report
For the second piece of evidence, head toward the white tent located a short distance to the left of where you found the Guard’s Letter. Walk over to the tent and look around, and you will find the Guard’s Report. Pick it up and read through it. This document contains more details and rules to follow.
Examine the damaged wagon
Go across the road from the camp and make your way to the broken wagon near the dried-up river. Once you reach it, take a closer look and investigate the wagon carefully.
