Actions Speak Louder than Words is the 8th main mission in Crimson Desert. In this guide, you’ll find all the steps needed to complete the mission, including assisting distressed villagers, picking up the broom, and cleaning the chimney to progress the story.
Help the distressed villagers/Speak with the distressed couple
As the quest starts, head to the marker on the map to find a woman in front of the house. She is scolding her partner for not being able to clean the chimney. Speak with her and agree to help with cleaning the chimney.
Take the broom
After speaking with the woman, you will automatically go to the broom located by the side of her hut and collect it. Open your inventory and put the broom into your active inventory.
Equip the broom and clean the chimney
To clean the chimney, first make your way onto the roof. You can either climb up the wall directly or go around to the back of the house and use the stacked boxes to reach the top.
Once you’re on the roof, open your inventory menu and find the broom and equip it. After that, use the D-pad to choose the broom from your quick-access wheel so your character is actually holding it.
Now move over to the chimney and carefully climb on top of it. Make sure you are standing directly on the chimney, not beside it.
Look down into the chimney to trigger the prompt, then interact to start cleaning the chimney.
