If you’re exploring Crimson Desert and come across the strongbox inside Vatin Hall Fortress. There’s no clear explanation, and trial and error can take forever. Here’s a simple guide to help you open the strongbox quickly.
Where to Find the Strongbox
The strongbox is located in Vatin Hall Fortress in the Pailun region, near the top-left area of the map. Once inside, keep an eye on your map for the treasure icon and head directly toward that marked location. The strongbox is hidden behind a secret wall that requires a specific maneuver to bypass.
Start by finding the movable wall section at the marker, climb onto it, and hang from the lower edge. While hanging, hold the resist button and use the force palm ability to rotate the wall while staying attached. This will spin the mechanism around, revealing the hidden room where the strongbox is kept.
Strongbox Puzzle Solution
The puzzle involves selecting glowing nodes in a specific order. Here is the best and exact sequence to follow to solve the puzzle.
I have marked all the nodes from 1 to 12. Press the nodes in the same sequence to unlock the strongbox.
Correct Sequence: 1 → 5 → 9 → 6 → 10 → 7 → 12 → 8 → 4 → 7 → 3 → 2
Once the nodes are pressed in the correct sequence, the strongbox will open. Also, you need to wear the mask to steal the items: Flame Lantern.
