Crimson Desert: How to Get and Farm Brimstone (Complete Guide)

Brimstone is one of the most important crafting materials in Crimson Desert, especially if you want to craft gold bars and upgrade your gear at the witches. The problem is that it’s not easy to obtain Brimstone because the moment you get close to it, the toxic fumes can kill you instantly. This guide walks you through everything you need, from surviving brimstone zones to farming it efficiently in Crimson Desert.

Step 1: Get the Brimstone Immunity Mask

Head to the marked location and look for a small house. Inside, you’ll find a Brimstone Immunity Mask. Once equipped, this mask lets you safely approach brimstone areas without suffocating.

Step 2: Unlock Nature’s Snare Ability

Next, you’ll need a special skill called Nature’s Snare. Travel to the top of Three Saints Falls, where you’ll find ancient ruins. Here, you can unlock Nature’s Snare.

Step 3: Best Brimstone Farming Location

Once you have both the mask and the skill, head to Deadfire Mountain in the northern part of Demeniss to find multiple farming spots like vents, enemies, etc.

Step 4: Defeat enemies to get Brimstone

While exploring brimstone farming spots, you’ll come across enemies guarding the vents and surrounding zones. Defeat these enemies to collect brimstone as loot, as they typically drop a few pieces upon defeat.

Step 5: How to Mine Brimstone (Vent Method)

Mining brimstone from vents is the most efficient method. To mine brimstone from vents, you first need to enter Force Bomb mode by holding down the right trigger. Once you’re in that mode, switch to the healing version of the Force Bomb using your left stick. Now look for the three nearby vents releasing toxic fumes. Carefully aim and seal two of these vents by targeting them and releasing your healing Force Bomb. This step is important because it forces all the pressure into the remaining open vent.

With only one vent still active, you can now use Nature’s Snare. Slowly rotate your right stick clockwise to begin casting the ability. As it activates, the smoke from the open vent will start getting pulled into one spot, forming a bright, glowing core.

You’ll notice the smoke becoming more concentrated and the glow getting stronger over time. Once it’s fully charged and the smoke clears, release the ability to trigger the extraction. This will cause the vent to burst and reward you with brimstone, usually around 4 to 7 pieces per attempt.
