In Crimson Desert, Blinding Flash is a useful ability that can be used to blind enemies, solve puzzles, burn vines, and find hidden things. At first, the skill may feel confusing. But once you learn how to use it, the game becomes much easier in both fights and puzzles.
To use the Blinding Flash ability in Crimson Desert, you need to press both inputs (L1/LB + R1/RB) at the same time to enter the Blinding Flash stance. Timing is important here. If you press one button slightly before the other, the ability will not activate.

Once activated, Kliff will raise his sword and enter the stance. At this point, hold R1 / RB to maintain the stance. You can release L1 / LB after the stance is active, which makes it easier to control your inputs without accidentally canceling the ability.
While in this stance, press L1 / LB again to begin focusing light. A bright beam will appear in front of you, and you can aim it using your movement controls. Carefully direct this light toward your target, whether it’s a puzzle object, mechanism, or destructible surface.

Keep the light steady on the target for a few seconds. The effect is not instant, so you need to maintain focus until the object reacts.
