Crimson Desert: How to Complete the Fire Breathing Pack Quest

The Fire Breathing Pack quest in Crimson Desert can be confusing because the objective is unclear and the required item is not directly listed in the crafting menu. This guide explains everything step by step, including the correct item to craft, where to find the needed materials, and how to complete the Fire Breathing Pack quest.

What is the Fire Breathing Pack?

Despite the quest name, the actual item you need to craft is the Kuku Rocket Pack. Once the quest becomes active, its blueprint is unlocked at Grimnir’s Workshop.

Step 1: Craft the Required Base Item

Before making the Kuku Rocket Pack, you first need to craft the ‘Kuku Pack’, which itself requires a ‘Peddler’s Pack’. This means the crafting chain looks like this:

Peddler’s Pack >> Kuku Pack >> Kuku Rocket Pack

Step 2: Where to Get the Peddler’s Pack

To obtain a Peddler’s Pack, travel to the southern part of the map as shown in the map below. South of Hernand Highland to find a Totesmith tannery location marked on the map. There is an NPC there who sells packs.

When you arrive, look behind the NPC to find several packs available. Only the pack on the right side can be purchased, and it costs less than one silver. You can also steal one if you prefer.

Step 3: Craft the Kuku Pack

Return to Grimnir’s Workshop once you have the Peddler’s Pack. You can now craft the Kuku Pack, which unlocks access to the higher-tier pack recipes.

Step 4: Materials for the Kuku Rocket Pack

To craft the Kuku Rocket Pack item, you need:

  • 10 x Iron Ore
  • 5 x Copper Ore
  • 5 x Cog Wheels
  • 3 x Small Batteries

Where to Find Iron Ore and Copper Ore

Iron and Copper Ore can be found throughout the world and are easy to gather from mining nodes. You will find several nodes just south of the Hernand across the river. Use the environmental map to locate deposits in nearby regions.

Where to Get Cog Wheels and Small Batteries

For these mechanical materials, head to Delesyia. In this area, defeat the robotic enemies and make sure to loot everything they drop. Cog Wheels and Small Batteries commonly come from these enemies, making this the best place to farm the materials you need.

Step 5: Complete the Quest

Once you gather all the required materials, craft the Kuku Rocket Pack at the workshop. As soon as it is completed, the Fire Breathing Pack quest will automatically end.
