If you’ve hit the Ritual Preparations quest in Crimson Desert and aren’t sure where to start, you’re not alone. We’ll walk you through how to read the shipwreck memories and where to find all three items Maegu is asking for in the main quest ‘Ritual Preparations’ in Crimson Desert.
Read the memories of the shipwreck
As the quest starts, you will find yourself on a beach. Clear out the enemies in the area first.
Once that’s done, head to the middle of the search area and hold LB to focus on the ground with your lantern. When you’re in the correct spot, you will see the outlines of blue ghosts appear, and a “Learning in Progress” icon will show up on your screen.
Afterward, open your mini wheel and equip the Visione helmet to view the memory. You need to play the “Memory of the Kidnapped Witches.”
Retrieve the item Maegu requested (x3)
You need to find 3 of Maegu’s hidden items scattered around the search area on the beach. Here is where to find each one.
Maegu Item #1: Talisman
Head to the northern edge of the search area. It is in the sand in front of the shipwreck. Look for a small wooden pole sticking out of the sand. The Talisman is located right next to it.
Maegu Item #2: Censer
The Censer is hidden underneath the big wooden shipwreck. You can’t just reach in and grab it, as the shipwreck is sitting on top of it. To get it, use Nature’s Grasp to lift the shipwreck up and freeze it in the air. While the shipwreck is suspended, go underneath and grab the Censer.
Maegu Item #3: Bells
Make your way to the southern edge of the search area. The Bells are buried in the sand right on the beach. Have a look around that area, and you should spot them without too much trouble.
Once you have collected all three items, the quest will be complete.
