If you are crafting items with Grimnir’s Workshop, you will eventually need a Peddler’s Pack to craft the Kuku Pack and other items. If you are not sure what a Peddler’s Pack is or where to find one, this article will guide the player on where to find a Peddler’s Pack in Crimson Desert.
What Is a Peddler’s Pack?
Peddler’s Packs are special items carried by merchant NPCs who walk the roads near cities. You have probably seen these packs drop from NPCs throughout the game and either sold them or ignored them without realizing they had a use.
The good news is that you do not need a specific type of pack. Any pack from a merchant NPC will work, whether it is a Hunter’s Pack, an Orange’s Pack, or any other variety. As long as the NPC sells goods, they count as a peddler, and their pack will do the job.
How to Get a Peddler’s Pack
There are three ways to get one. Any of these three methods below will get you the pack you need to continue crafting with Grimnir.
Draw Your Sword
The easiest method is to find a peddler walking along any road near a city, then draw your sword near them. You do not need to attack them. The peddler will get intimidated and drop their pack on the spot. Just pick it up and walk away.

Start a Nearby Fight
If you would rather avoid stealing, find a merchant close to the road and start a fight with some enemies nearby. When the fighting gets close enough to the merchant, they will drop their pack and run. Once the fight is over, you can pick up the pack freely.
Buy One Directly
If you want the cleanest option, there is a location where you can buy a Peddler’s Pack for around 75 copper. To obtain a Peddler’s Pack, travel to the southern part of the map as shown in the map below. South of Hernand Highland to find a Totesmith tannery location marked on the map. There is an NPC there who sells packs.

When you arrive, look behind the NPC to find several packs available. Only the pack on the right side can be purchased, and it costs less than one silver. You can also steal one if you prefer.
