This article will guide the player on how to complete all the Spire of the Sun Mirror Puzzle for the quest “Unwavering Steps” in Crimson Desert.
Mirror Puzzle 1: The Right Side
The first mirror puzzle is on the right side of the spire. You will see a laser beam already bouncing through a chain of mirrors. The problem is that the beam is missing the final crystal in the chain and is not landing correctly.
Slide the mirror in the bottom right corner over to the right so the light hits it. The beam will then redirect into the target crystal and send a new laser across to the second puzzle area.
Mirror Puzzle 2: The Right Side
Follow the blue light south to the next set of mirrors, just outside the Spire. The beam here works the same way as the first puzzle. It needs to travel through a series of mirrors before it reaches its target crystal.
The laser is hitting the first mirror, but this mirror needs to reflect the beam to a different mirror (at the end row). Slide the first mirror sideways along its track all the way to the corner. This will redirect the laser toward the middle mirror. Refer to the image below.
Now head to the middle mirror. You will notice it is reflecting the light toward nothing. Look to the left side of where the light is shining, and you will see another mirror in the corner. Move that corner mirror so that the light coming from the middle mirror reaches it.
Follow the light as it travels to another mirror on the same side, which then redirects it across to the opposite side. Head over to the opposite side and move the mirror on the right side so that the light hits it correctly.
Observe the light beam again, and you will notice it is pointing toward nothing. Look to the right side of the beam, and you will find another movable mirror that you have not used yet. Move it into position so the beam hits it.
Slide the mirror sideways so the light hits it, then move it down the middle groove as close as possible to the previous mirror. Once it is in position, the light will redirect toward the middle mirror, which will then bounce it toward nothing.
Head to the back corner, where you will find one last movable mirror that has not been touched yet. Move it into position so the light coming from the middle mirror hits it. The mirror will then direct the beam toward the crystal in the front row. Once the front crystal lights up, it will shine at the Spire, and the door will open.
Puzzle 3: Inside the Spire
Step inside, and you will immediately see a laser beam pointing up at a mirror above you. The goal now is to chain that beam upward through a series of mirrors, one floor at a time, all the way to the roof.
Walk up the stairs to the first mirror and examine it. Using your controls, rotate the beam and drag it upward until it connects with the next mirror above that is not yet lit up. The moment it connects, a new set of stairs activates to climb up.
Repeat this at every level of the spire. Examine the mirror, aim the beam at the next unused mirror above, and climb the stairs that appear.
Hitting that stone with the light beam opens the top platform and lowers the last set of stairs. Climb up to reach the abyss gate at the summit of the Spire of the Sun.
