Pursuit Beyond the Veil is the main mission in Crimson Desert. In this quest, you’ll be sent to an area to destroy a totem at four places. These four areas look overwhelming with a lot of enemies and mini-bosses, but once you know what you’re doing, you can wrap it up in under a minute. This walkthrough will show you exactly how to take down all four totems to complete the quest.
Destroy the totem at Hollow Haven
When you arrive at the quest area, four objective markers will appear on your screen. Each one points to a totem that needs to be destroyed. All 4 areas are crawling with enemies and a mini-boss. You don’t have to fight any of them. If you just want to push through the main story, you can skip almost all of the combat.
How to Destroy a Totem
The best method is to use the bow skill “Charged Shot” to destroy the totems. Use the bow by aiming and holding the shooting button ( L2 + hold R2 or LT+ hold RT and Q + hold mouse Right Click).
Alternatively, you can use your sword too to destroy the totem.
- Pull out your sword
- Run up to the totem
- Charge R1 and R2 to perform a heavy attack.
- Hit it once
One heavy attack should be enough to destroy the totem.
