World of Warcraft Midnight has brought a ton of new mounts into the game, like the Void Corrupted Hex Eagle. This mount is a real eye-catcher for anyone who loves the void-themed look. Also, it is not locked behind a brutal raid, a long reputation grind, or a rare random drop. Is It the Right Week? Check the Weekly Rotation of the Mount
This mount is only available during the week that the Broken Throne ritual site is active. The Broken Throne rotates between two zones: Zul’Aman and Eversong Woods. You need the Zul’Aman week specifically.
To confirm it’s the right week, open your map and look for the Ritual Site: Broken Throne icon at the bottom of Zul’Aman. If that icon isn’t showing up, it’s simply not the correct week. Come back next time the cycle rolls around.
Step 1: Enter the Ritual Site: Broken Throne site in Zul’Aman
Head to the Ritual Site: Broken Throne site and look for the obelisk, and enter the ritual site. One important rule here: do not run Tier 1. You need to run Tier 2 or higher for this to work. Tier 2 is perfectly fine.
Step 2: Go to the Ritual Circle
Once you’re inside, make your way to the specific location marked on your map. The easiest route is to go around the outside and jump down from the upper end. Follow the path shown in the map below.
When you land, you’ll find a ritual circle with several skulls arranged around it. Look closely, and you’ll notice one skull is missing a candle.
Step 3: Place the Misplaced Candle
Near the ritual circle, there’s a candle sitting in the wrong spot. It is hidden under the big banana tree’s leaves. Interact with it and pick it up, then place it on the skull that’s missing one.
Step 4: Summon and Defeat the Void Corrupted Hex Eagle
With the candle placed correctly, you can now interact with the ritual circle in the middle. This summons the Void Corrupted Hex Eagle as a boss encounter. It’s not a difficult fight. Defeat the Boss
Step 5: Loot the Mount
Once the boss is defeated. You’ll receive the Void Corrupted Eagle Talon as loot, which is the item that teaches you the mount. Simply learn it from your inventory.
