How to solve the Sanctum of Exaltation Puzzle in Crimson Desert

The Sanctum of Exaltation is part of the Witch of Kindness questline, so before you begin, ensure that this quest is active.  This guide will walk you through the steps needed to solve the Sanctum of Exaltation puzzle in Crimson Desert.

Requirement

Unlock the Witch of Kindness quest first. Without it, the sanctum won’t activate.

Step 1: Drain the Water Pool and Collect the First Piece

From the main puzzle area, jump downward to the lower floor to reach a pool of water. One of the puzzle pieces lies at the bottom, but you will need to drain the pool first.

Jump to the right and locate the frozen section in the wall. Break it using your Axiom Hand or a charged attack. This will shatter the ice and drain the water.

Once the water has drained, head into the now-empty room and pick up the first piece. Carry it back out to the open.

Step 2: Find the Second Piece

Now, jump down to the large opening between the two broken and snow-covered staircases. At the bottom, you will find the second piece required for the puzzle. You can seal this piece in your Kuku Pot to make it easier to navigate the puzzle area.

Step 3: Place the First Piece on the Pillar

Take the first piece and place it over the pillar closest. You will know it is in the correct position when you see green leaves appear around it. Once you see that, force palm it into place to lock it in.

Step 4: Place the Cube at the Back

Open your Kuko Pot and take out the cube. Place it in the slot at the back of the puzzle area and force it to lock in. This triggers the sanctum cleansing, and a cutscene will play.

Wait for the Witch of Kindness to finish speaking before you move on to the final step.

Step 5: Solve the Final Light Puzzle

Press your lantern button and light attack button together to activate your blinding light. From there, it is all about timing. Watch the light carefully and tap only when it lands on a white block, then release immediately before tapping again.

The biggest mistake players make here is holding the button down too long. Short, controlled taps are all you need. Once every block is hit correctly, the machine will pop a piece out from the top section for you to collect as a reward.
