In Episode 3 of Directive 8020, one of the tasks you’ll need to complete is getting into the cold storage compartment. To do that, you’ll have to explore a couple of rooms, grab a battery, and track down a hidden note that holds the code you need. This guide walks you through each step so you can get it done without any guesswork.
How to find the Cold Storage Key Code in Directive 8020
At the start of the chapter, look to your left to spot a window shutter. Use your Utility Strap on it to unlock it, then climb through into the next room.
Once inside, make your way to the far right side. You’ll find a battery sitting on the shelves to your left. Pick it up and place it into the slot next to the door on the right to unlock it.
Head through the door and walk to the far end of the room until you reach a yellow door. Use the wedge tool to unlock it and step inside.
Turn around, and you’ll notice a note on the door frame. It contains the code for the food storage compartment. The code is 0402.
Leave the room and head to the left toward the window shutter. Use your Utility Strap to open it and go inside.
Once in, locate the food storage compartment and enter the code 0402 in the keypad to unlock it.
