How to Tame the Tiger Mount in Crimson Desert
If you want to add a powerful beast (tiger) to your collection, you’ll first need to gather the right supplies, locate the tiger’s habitat, and successfully earn its trust.
Where to Get Meat
You’ll need to stock up on meat, which is used to increase the tiger’s trust. The easiest and most reliable place to buy meat is in Hernand from Renee or any other Butchery Shop. Different types of meat provide different amounts of trust:
- Bird Meat: Grants 35 Trust.
- All Other Meat Types: Grant 40 Trust.
Tiger Mount Location
To find the Tiger Mount, travel to the area located east of Demeniss and north of Delesyia. The exact location is near the Giant’s Yard Research Group Watch Tower.
If you zoom in on the world map, you’ll notice a tiger icon marking the area. Once you’ve identified the location, fast travel to the nearest waypoint and make your way toward the marker.
Occasionally, enemies in the area can interfere with the encounter, causing the tigers to despawn. So, it’s highly recommended to create a manual save.
Clearing the Area to isolate a single Tiger
You’ll usually encounter multiple tigers at once. To make the taming process easier, thin out the pack first so you don’t have several tigers attacking you while trying to tame one. Be especially careful not to kill the White Tiger if you want to preserve future spawn opportunities.
How to Tame the Tiger Mount
Once you’ve isolated the tiger you want, use Force Palm against it. Remember not to spam the Force Palm ability, as it could kill the tiger. Instead, hit the tiger with a single Force Palm strike at a time. After a few successful hits, the tiger will lower its head. When this happens, you’ll see the option to Ride the tiger.
Mount the tiger as soon as the prompt appears. If other tigers are nearby, move away from the area to avoid being attacked during the taming process.
Feeding the Tiger
While riding the tiger:
- Open your inventory.
- Navigate to the Meat section.
- Select any meat item.
- Hold the interact button and choose Feed.
Each feeding increases the tiger’s trust level. Continue feeding the tiger until its trust reaches 100%.
Claiming Your Tiger Mount
Once the trust meter is filled, you’ll receive the option to officially tame the tiger as your mount.
