The Snaf’s Recipe quest is a side quest you’ll come across while exploring the Old Camp in Gothic 1 Remake. In the quest, Snaf needs a few ingredients for his cooking, and it’s up to you to track them down. This guide will show you exactly where to find the ingredients and how to complete the quest.
Starting Location: Snaf’s Recipe
You can begin the quest by speaking with Snaf, the cook located inside the Old Camp. After talking to him, he’ll ask you to bring him the following ingredients: 3 Bug Meat & 5 Hellcaps
Where to Find Bug Meat
Follow the path behind the Snaf. After a short run, you’ll come across several Meat Bugs. Kill the Meat Bugs and loot their bodies to collect the required Bug Meat.
Where to Find Hellcaps
Hellcaps are a type of mushroom found in the wilderness around the Old Camp. Leave the Old camp from the southern main gate. From there, make your way toward the small hills outside the settlement. The Hellcaps are scattered around the hills and can usually be spotted without much trouble.
Return to Snaf
With all the ingredients in your inventory, return to the Old Camp and speak with Snaf again. Snaf will gladly accept the items to end the quest.
