Where to find the Cog in Gothic 1 Remake
After speaking with Ian, turn left and make your way back down to the lower levels of the mine using the large wooden ramp structure.
Once you reach the bottom of the wooden ramp, head to the left side of the mine. You will pass a guard standing near the path.
Continue moving forward past him while keeping an eye on the tunnels branching off from the main area on the right. As you proceed, look to your right for a mine tunnel guarded by another guard standing at the entrance.
This is the tunnel you need to enter. Head inside and follow the passage all the way to the end. At the end of the tunnel, you will find a ladder leading deeper into the mine.
Climb down the ladder, then descend a second ladder. After reaching the lower level, look around the wooden platform area nearby. The missing Cog can be found resting on a set of wooden planks next to a lever.
