Cape Bonavista is one of the very first locations you’ll visit in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and while it may seem like a small island, it’s packed with collectibles waiting to be discovered. Cape Bonavista contains 14 Collectibles. This guide will help you find every collectible in the Cape Bonavista area of the game Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
#1-2 Cape Bonavista – Viewpoints
There are two Viewpoints in Cape Bonavista. The map below shows the exact locations of both Viewpoints.
#3 Cape Bonavista – Chest
Head to the northeastern side of Cape Bonavista as shown on the map and look for a large shipwreck.
From there, follow the cliff wall until you spot a wooden treasure chest tucked against the rock wall. Open it to collect the hidden loot.
#4 Cape Bonavista – Secret (Letter The Observatorie)
This collectible is also located on the northeastern side of the island. From the previous collectible, turn around and cross the river to the opposite side. Once across, look for a coconut tree and check the ground nearby. When the Pick Up prompt appears, interact with it to collect the Secret Letter.
#5 Cape Bonavista – Secret (Treasure Map)
The Secret (Treasure Map) can be found on a skeleton at the entrance of a cave. Head to the location marked on the map below, then loot the skeleton to obtain the treasure map.
Solution
From the beach on the southern side of Cape Bonavista, head north until you reach a large cave. Enter the cave and follow the path all the way to the end.
You’ll find the prompt to dig in the middle of a small puddle of water. Interact with it to collect your reward.
#6 Cape Bonavista – Data File
The collectible is located at the top of the small waterfall. Climb up the nearby ledges to reach the upper level, then enter the cave. Follow the path through the cave and emerge in an open area with several stone pillars.
From there, head to the right toward the small waterfall. You’ll find the collectible resting on a rock at the edge of the waterfall, just above where the water cascades down. Interact with it to pick it up.
#7 Cape Bonavista – Song Sheet (So Early In The Morning)
Head to the location marked on the map and enter the cave beneath the wooden ramp. Inside, you’ll find the collectible resting between two tree branches.
As you get close, it will take off and begin drifting through the cave. Follow it until it finally comes to a stop, then interact with it to collect it.
#8 Cape Bonavista – Chest
This collectible is located on the same ledge where you picked up the previous Song Sheet after chasing it through the cave. Simply return to that spot and interact with it to collect it.
#9 Cape Bonavista – Secret (Diamond Trinket)
This collectible is located underwater, directly beneath the waterfall near the Viewpoint. Dive into the pool below the falls and search the bottom to find the chest.
#10 Cape Bonavista – Jaguar
Head to the location marked on the map to find Jaguar.
#11 Cape Bonavista – Howler Monkey
Head to the location marked on the map to find Monkey. The map shows locations of all 3 animals in the area.
#12 Cape Bonavista – Wild Pig
#13 Cape Bonavista – Mayan Stelae PUZZLE
Climb onto the stone pillar and activate the Mayan Stela. You’ll see a glowing circular pattern appear on the screen. Your goal is to line up the large outer circle with the pillar directly in front of you.
Once the outer circle is aligned, slowly move the camera closer or farther away until the smaller inner patterns fit perfectly over the markings on the pillar. When all the glowing circles overlap to form a complete image, the puzzle will be solved automatically
