If you’re stuck on the “Find a Way Out” objective in the Observatory quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you’re not alone. The exit isn’t as straightforward as it first appears. Many players try to reach the closing door, only to realize it shuts too quickly to pass through. This guide will walk you through the correct route to escape the observatory in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Step 1: Climb Out of the Water
After dropping into the water, turn and face south. You’ll see a series of stone blocks that lead out of the pool. Swim over to them and climb up, then continue parkouring from ledge to ledge until you reach the main platform at the top.
Ignore the Closing Door
Once you reach the main platform, the large door will begin to close. Although it looks like you can make it, the door shuts too quickly, making it impossible to slide underneath or reach the other side in time. Instead of trying to force your way through, turn around and look for another route out of the observatory.
Step 2: Head North
From the main platform, head to the left side. You’ll notice a damaged section of the wall with a broken piece sticking out that you can climb.
Pull yourself up, then move into the narrow climbing area. Grab the small ledges on the right-hand side and move along them to the end.
Step 3: Perform the Back Eject
When you reach the end of the ledge, climb up slightly until the Back Eject prompt appears. Press the jump button once to leap to the opposite wall. From there, move to the left and jump across to the next ledge. Continue following the climbing path until you reach the next platform.
The next jump is the trickiest part of the escape. Position yourself carefully on the ledge, face the platform ahead, and make the jump. It’s easy to misjudge the distance and fall, so take your time before leaping. If you miss, you’ll have to climb back up and try again.
Step 4: Follow the Cave
After landing safely, head into the cave in front of you and follow the tunnel until you reach the exit. Once you emerge outside, you’ll complete the Find a Way Out of the Observatory quest and can continue with the quest.
