Unlike the original game, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced does not restore Edward’s health automatically. Instead, you’ll need to rely on remedies, food, and other healing items. Fortunately, there’s a powerful Legendary Trinket called the Guardian Beast that restores passive health regeneration outside of combat, making exploration and consecutive fights much easier. This guide shows you exactly where to find the Guardian Beast Legendary Trinket and how to unlock passive health regeneration.
Guardian Beast Legendary Trinket Location
Coordinates: 356, 701
The Guardian Beast Legendary Trinket is hidden inside an underwater chest near an unmarked island in the Dry Tortuga region.
Sail to the coordinates 356, 701 and look for a small shipwreck just offshore. Dive into the water and swim near the wreckage until you find a treasure chest resting on the seabed. Open the chest to obtain the Guardian Beast Legendary Trinket.
Guardian Beast Effect
Once equipped, the Guardian Beast grants the following effect:
- Regenerates health automatically while out of combat.
Why You Should Get It Early
The Guardian Beast is widely considered one of the best early-game trinkets because it significantly reduces the number of healing items you’ll need to carry. As long as you can avoid taking damage for a short time, your health will gradually recover on its own.
