The Preserved Map Pieces are collectible fragments in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced that eventually lead you to a hidden treasure on Sacrifice Island. This guide explains how to obtain all Preserved Map Pieces and use them to find the Sacrifice Island Treasure.
How to get Preserved Map Pieces
The Preserved Map Pieces come from plundering warehouses. The first time you raid a warehouse, all you get is a Painting as a reward. Now, when you do the second successful raid on the same warehouse, it rewards Preserved Map Pieces instead.
To get started, find any warehouse on the map and complete the Plunder Warehouse side activity. Once you’ve finished that first raid, the warehouse goes on cooldown and won’t be available again right away.

When the warehouse becomes available again, go back and complete the Plunder Warehouse activity a second time. Successfully looting it this second time rewards you with a Preserved Map Piece.

Once you’ve gathered every fragment, head to the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua to have them restored into the complete Preserved Map. This restored map will then reveal the location of the hidden Sacrifice Island Treasure.

Sacrifice Island Treasure Location
After restoring the Preserved Map, sail to Sacrifice Island at the coordinates (14, 554).

Once you arrive, head toward the northern to northwestern side of the island. Look for a large stone archway along the beach. The buried treasure is located beneath the shade of two connected rock formations at the base of the archway.

Opening the Sacrifice Island Treasure rewards you with two exclusive Legendary items:
- Shade and Shadow Robes (Legendary Outfit)
- Wooden Eyeball (Legendary Trinket):
