If you’re hunting down every last chest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the Mystery Island treasure is one worth grabbing early. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find the Mystery Island Treasure Map and how to reach the buried treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Mystery Island Map
To get the Restored Weathered Map in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you’ll need to track down six Weathered Map Pieces in total. Five of them are locked inside chests hidden in Smuggler’s Caves, and the sixth one you simply buy from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua.
Head inside the Smuggler’s Cave, defeat pirates, and find the Pirate Leader. Find the pirate leader and loot the Smuggler’s Chest Key. Then use it to unlock the chest tucked away somewhere in the cave. Each of these chests holds one Weathered Map Piece.
Once you’ve cleared out five caves and picked up five pieces, head back to the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua. He’ll sell you the sixth and final piece for 200 Spice. With all six pieces in hand, pay him another 150 Spice, and he’ll restore the complete Weathered Map for you.
Mystery Island Treasure
To find the treasure chest, travel to Mystery Island, located east of Navassa, and make your way to approximately (914, 124).
Once you arrive, look for a pit and climb down into it. Inside, you’ll find several bodies lying next to a hay bale. The treasure chest is located at this spot.
Opening the Mystery Island Treasure rewards you with the following Legendary weapons:
- Persian Scimitars (Legendary Cutlass)
- Gargoyle’s Breath (Legendary Pistol)
