If you’re hunting down every last chest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the Great Inagua treasure is one worth grabbing early. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find the Mystery Island Treasure Map and how to reach the buried treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Step 1: Collect All Character Portraits
To unlock this legendary weapon, you’ll need to collect every Character Portrait. These Portraits are hidden throughout the Caribbean and only become available after reaching certain points in the main story. Refer to the attached article to find all 11 Portraits.
Step 2: Display Every Portrait
Once you’ve collected all eleven portraits, return to Great Inagua Manor.
Inside the manor, interact with each empty portrait frame and hang the corresponding Character Portrait. After placing the final portrait, a cutscene will trigger and reward you with The Fortune Treasure Map. This treasure map is required to unlock the legendary weapon.
Step 3: Find the Treasure
After obtaining The Fortune Treasure Map, travel to Great Inagua and head to the southern shore at coordinates 820, 430. Look for the leaning tree shown on the map, then interact with the ground beneath it to dig up the buried treasure.
Open the treasure chest to get The Fortune Legendary Sword.
