This article will guide the player on how to solve the puzzle in the secret room for the quest House of the Soulless. The House of the Soulless quest in Genshin Impact 7.0 is part of the Hesperides of Love and Hate questline.
Understanding the Puzzle
In this puzzle, there are three paintings on the wall, and each one has a section that’s left white or empty. Your job is to place statues around the room (in the correct slot of the grid) in a way that their shadows land exactly on those empty spaces. Since there are three empty sections to fill, you’ll need to work with three separate statues to complete the puzzle.
Solving the puzzle
Before you can start solving anything, you need to clear the room a little. There’s already a statue standing in the middle of the grid. Interact with it and remove it.
Once the room is clear, head to the corner. You’ll find the Temporary Blueprint of the Snegurochka Statue I. Interact with it to pick it up. This blueprint is what lets you place a new statue in the correct spot.
Placing Statues 1 & 2
The room has a grid of slots you can place statues. For this first blueprint, you need to place two statues in it:
- Slot 1 (top left)
- Slot 5 (center middle)
Once the statue is placed correctly, you’ll notice a cat spawn in the room, and this triggers a hidden mechanism built into one of the paintings. This will reveal a passage into another room you couldn’t access before.
Placing Statues 3
Head into the newly revealed room. Inside, you’ll find the Temporary Blueprint of Snegurochka Statue II. Just like before, interact with it to get the third statue.
Go back to the main puzzle room and place this third statue in slot 9 (bottom right). Once it’s positioned correctly, its shadow will fall across the wall.
This will solve the puzzle in the secret room and reveal a path to a secret cellar. Head down the cellar to recover the first Ikhor fragment.
