Finding powerful weapons early can make a big difference in Mortal Shell 2, especially when you’re still getting familiar with the game’s combat and exploration. How to Get Veteran’s Battle Axe in Mortal Shell 2
The Veteran’s Battle Axe can be found inside the King’s Crypt dungeon, located directly north of the Blackridge Pass Beacon.
From the Blackridge Pass Beacon, head east until you reach an open area where several enemies are fighting each other. From here, turn north (left) and proceed ahead while keeping to the right side of the mountain wall.
Continue following the wall until you come across a wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and keep hugging the right side as you move forward.
Eventually, you’ll spot a dungeon entrance with carts and barrels placed outside. This is the King’s Crypt dungeon. Drop down toward the entrance and look for the illusory wall. Pass through it to enter the dungeon.
King’s Crypt Dungeon Walkthrough
Take the elevator down to the bottom of the dungeon. As you make your way through this area, watch out for the pressure plates and bear traps scattered across the floor. Carefully avoid them to prevent taking unnecessary damage.
Blow up the oil barrels to clear the way and reveal a new path. Continue forward, then drop down to the lower level. Once you land, turn around and destroy the wooden wall behind you to reveal a doorway leading into the next section.
Proceed through the area while dealing with the enemies along the way. Once you’ve cleared the path, head up the stairs and continue forward until you reach the end. Look for the hole in the floor and drop down. To find another enemy with a spear and defeat him.
After the fight, look for the headless corpse next to the crypt. Interact with the body to collect the Veteran’s Battle Axe and add this weapon to your arsenal.
