Getting the right weapon can make a big difference in Mortal Shell 2, especially when you’re working toward specific trophies. The Obsidian Hammer is one of the weapons worth tracking down. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Obsidian Hammer, how to reach its location, and what you need to do to obtain the weapon and unlock the Stop – Hammer Time trophy.
Where to Find the Obsidian Hammer
The Obsidian Hammer is obtained by defeating the Prophet of the Profane inside the Obsidianite Mines. The easiest starting point for reaching the mines is to teleport to the Gate of Mammon beacon.
From here, follow the path leading west to the fast-travel point. This will take you to the Abandoned Outpost Beacon in the Ruins of Mammon.
From the Abandoned Outpost Beacon, head south and follow the path until you reach a broken bridge.
Cross the bridge and, as soon as you reach the other side, turn left. Follow the slope downhill and pass underneath the bridge.
Continue along the path while hugging the mountain wall on your right. Keep moving forward, and you’ll eventually come across a small hanging bridge. Cross it and continue straight ahead.
As you progress, you’ll pass through a narrow gap between two rock walls. On the other side, you emerge into a large open area with knee-deep water.
Once you reach this area, look toward your right. You’ll find the entrance to the Beacon there. Head inside to continue toward the next section.
How to find the Boss Prophet of the Profane
Follow the main path inside the Obsidianite Mines and look for the elevator. Use it to go down to the lower level and continue deeper into the mine. As you move through this area, you’ll meet several pickaxe-wielding enemies. You can defeat them or simply run past them.
Keep following the path until you reach the end of the area. You’ll find a breakable floor here. Jump on it to break it and drop down to the lower level.
You’ll land in a room filled with enemies. Defeat them and continue forward. Follow the path down the slope to reach the next area.
Make your way down and continue along the path. Eventually, you’ll reach a large room with several large pillars at the back. Enter the room to find the Prophet of the Profane.
Defeat the Prophet of the Profane and collect the reward from the boss. The boss will drop the Obsidian Hammer.
