Looking for the Great Martyr’s Blade in Mortal Shell 2? This powerful weapon is one of the eight obtainable weapons in the game and can be found inside the Martyr’s Prison dungeon. The dungeon is located in the northwestern part of the map, close to the Citadel of Penance. In this guide, we’ll show you how to reach Martyr’s Prison and unlock the Great Martyr’s Blade.
Start by fast-traveling to the Outskirts of Nochte Beacon. From the Beacon, head left and follow the path as it turns north until you reach a Bone Gate. Use the Bone Gate to travel to the other side.
Once you arrive in the new area, continue moving forward along the main path until you reach another Bone Gate. Use it to cross into the next area.
In the third area, turn right and keep proceeding ahead. Continue forward until you reach the Citadel Main Gate.
Instead of going inside, continue straight along the path and pass underneath the bridge pillar.
Keep moving forward and follow the path until you reach the Great Martyr’s Blade Beacon at the end.
Martyr’s Prison Walkthrough
Enter the Martyr’s Prison dungeon. Take the elevator all the way down to the bottom floor. Keep walking until the path looks like it stops (a dead end). When you get there, hit the wall on the right side. This opens a secret passage into a hidden cell inside the prison.
Inside the cell, hit the lock with your weapon until it breaks. This opens the cell door. Walk through it into the prison hallway.
Clear any enemies you meet along the way. Once the area is clear, look for another locked cell, this time on the right side. Break its lock the same way and go inside.
Clear the enemy inside the cell, then find the plate on the wall and interact with it. This will lift the metal gate that was blocking your way in the hallway.
Go back to that hallway and walk through the gate you just opened. This leads to a room full of enemies. Clear the enemies, and this will make the metal gate on the side of the room open.
Inside, you’ll find the Great Martyr’s Blade waiting for you.
