The Crypt Key is a key item in Mortal Shell 2 that is used to open the Hall of Echoes. Finding it can be confusing if you are not sure where to look or where the key is meant to be used. This guide shows you where to find the Crypt Key and how to use it in Mortal Shell 2.
How to Get Crypt Key
Start by fast-traveling to the Outskirts of Nochte Beacon. From the Beacon, head left and follow the path as it turns north until you reach a Bone Gate. Use the Bone Gate to travel to the other side.
Once you reach the new area, follow the main path and cross the bridge. After crossing, look at the ruined building on your left to find the entrance to the Illusionist’s Cache Dungeon. If you reach the Bone Gate, you have gone too far.
Do not enter the dungeon. Just enter the ruined building and look for a wooden table behind the dungeon door. The Crypt Key is sitting on the table. Simply interact with it to pick up the key.
How to Use Crypt Key
Once you have the Crypt Key in Mortal Shell 2, you can use it to unlock the Hall of Echoes dungeon. Head to Eastern Fainweald and use the key at the dungeon entrance to gain access.
