In Chapter 10 of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, you’ll encounter a puzzle involving three circular rings, several symbols, and a locked door. The solution requires you to determine which symbols correspond to each ring and then rotate the three pedestals into the correct positions. This guide will help you solve the puzzle and open the locked door.
In the puzzle area, you’ll find three different pedestals in front of the locked door. Each pedestal corresponds to one of the three circular rings on the door. First, look at the bottom left of the page, which shows the three rings. You can link those three rings to three of the symbols to the right side of the page, like the quiver and the two different shields.
So the innermost ring is the circular shield, the middle ring is the quiver, and the outer ring is the longer shield.
Now look at the three people at the top of the page. See what they are holding from left to right
- Circular Shield & Sword
- Quiver & Bow
- Longer Shield & Spear
Now visit 6 different upright stones in the nearby area and shine your sphere to see which symbols light up. Only three of the stones are relevant here: the ones with the Sword, Bow, and Spear symbols. Below are the symbols you will see.
- Sword > Serpent Symbol
- Bow > Arrow Symbol Upward
- Spear > F with Two Downward Symbol
So we need to align the Rings with corresponding symbols.
- Inner Ring
- Connected to Circular Shield > Sword > Serpent Symbol
- Middle Ring
- Connected to the Quiver > Bow > Upward Arrow Symbol
- Outer Ring
- Connected to the Longer Shield > Spear > F with Two Downward Symbol
Start by rotating the left pedestal (inner ring) until the green gem points toward the serpent. Next, rotate the middle pedestal (middle ring) so the red gem faces the upward arrow. Finally, rotate the right pedestal (outer ring) until the blue gem points toward the pronged F symbol.
Once you have done this correctly, stand in the light and use the sphere to aim all three lights at the correct targets. Once all three are aligned correctly, the door will open automatically.
