The “Blasphemy” side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker asks you to help Gremla find her stolen tapestry before nightfall. The quest can lead to three different endings depending on the choices you make. This walkthrough will show you how to complete “Blasphemy” and how to get all 3 endings.
Starting Location
To start the “Blasphemy” side quest, head to the location marked on the map. When you arrive, you’ll find Gremla crying outside her shed. Talk to Gremla, and she will explain that her tapestry has been stolen. She had taken on the task of weaving a vampiric banner for the Knyaz. She also fears that Brencis will not be pleased when he finds out about the theft.

Investigate Gremla’s shed and its surroundings using Focus Mode
As the quest starts, head inside her shed and use Focus Mode to inspect the weaving loom. You will find the pegs of the weaving loom are broken.

Next, go outside and head to the southern side of the shed. Use Focus Mode to find footprints leading away from her shed. Inspect the footprints again to find a hole next to these footprints. These clues suggest that the thief uses a cane to walk.

Now, follow the footprints and examine them again to find a bloodstain. From these clues, you can conclude that the thief walks with a cane and has an injured hand.

Search for villagers with walking canes using Focus Mode
Now, go in front of Gremla’s shed and enter Focus Mode to highlight Alois. Talk to him and ask if you can see his hands. His hands are clean and show no signs of injury. Alois will then mention another NPC named Otokar.

Speak with Otokar (optional)
Next, head to Otokar’s hut, which is located across the street on the right side. Speak with Otokar and ask him about the theft. He denies the accusations and explains that he injured his hand two days before the banner was stolen.

Speak with Dana (optional)
Next, head to Dana, who is sitting on a bench just outside her gate in the northern part of the village. Talk to her to continue the investigation. Dana will tell you to speak with Premysl. She mentions that Premysl had been complaining a few days earlier about the Vrakhi desecrating the church.

Speak with Premysl
Go straight to Premysl’s house and confront him about the stolen banner. Select “I know you stole the banner, Premysl.” to make him confess. He will try to convince you that he was right to steal the banner.

Report Premysl to Gremla or keep his secret
The choices you make in the final part of the quest will determine the reward you receive. You can either convince Premysl to give the tapestry back or agree with him and let him keep the tapestry.

After confronting Premysl, you can choose one of the following dialogue options.
- “Angering Brencis will put my family at risk”
- “This is just an empty gesture. Return the banner.” (Convince Premysl to return banner, 250XP)
- “Maybe you’re right…”(500XP, Daylight Amulet)
- “Maybe you’re right…” (500XP, Daylight Amulet)
- “You haven’t convinced me.” (250XP)
Then report to Gremla with your findings to end the quest:
- Tell Gremla “Premsyl has it.” or convince Premsyl to return the banner (325XP, 25 Denarius)
- Tell Gremla, “No. I’m sorry.” (75XP)
