Secure a Safe Passage to the Library for Anca is an objective in the Echoes of Silenced Bells main quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. During this part of the quest, Coen must help Anca reach the library safely in St. Tyna’s Convent. This walkthrough explains how to secure safe passage to the library for Anca.
How to Secure a Safe Passage to the Library for Anca
As you progress through the Echoes of Silenced Bells quest, you will enter the convent and escape the first group of nuns. Continue through the convent and make your way upstairs to rejoin Anca.
Now, your main goal is to gain access to the convent’s library. There are two main ways to gain access to the library.
- Find St. Tyna’s relic and use it to bribe the soldiers.
- Use the bell tower signals to command the nuns.
Find St. Tyna’s Relic
St. Tyna’s Relic is located inside teh church in the northwest corner of St. Tyna’s Convent.
Starting from the balcony, drop down to the ground and move forward while staying close to the left wall. Continue toward the infirmary and use Focus Mode to spot the window on the left side of the building, beneath the stairs.
Interact with the window to speak with a group of Brencis soldiers. They will offer to open the door leading to the library if you bring them St. Tyna’s relic. Agree to help them to start the “Most Precious Thing” sub-quest.
To find St. Tyna’s Relic, stay on the left side and carefully sneak through the gallery to avoid alerting the nuns. Once you reach the church, go around to the back area of the church building, where you will find a small shed.
Enter the shed and collect the Montesory Key.
Then return to the front entrance of the church and use the key to unlock the door. Inside, examine the nun’s corpse to obtain St. Tyna’s Relic.
You have two ways to deal with the soldiers and get access to the library:
- Hand over St. Tyna’s Relic: Give the relic to the soldiers in exchange for the Infirmary Key. However, you will lose the relic.
- Refuse their offer: Return to the soldiers and choose “I changed my mind.” They will attack you. Defeat them and loot their bodies to obtain the Infirmary Key.
You can then tell Anca that the path is clear, while keeping St. Tyna’s Relic to sell or use.
