Wondering how to unlock the Secret Ending in Marvel’s Wolverine after completing the main story? Once the main story ends, a new object will appear inside the Nightmare Cabin, giving you access to one final Nightmare Trial. Earn at least a Bronze rating in this trial to unlock the Secret Ending and the Repressed Memories Trophy.
After defeating the final boss in Marvel’s Wolverine, the story is not quite over. You can unlock a hidden ending by completing one final Nightmare Trial in the Nightmare Cabin.
Step 1: Complete the Main Story
First, finish the main story and defeat the final boss. After the battle, you’ll see a cutscene where Jean gives Logan a wooden phoenix carving.
Continue through the ending and let the credits finish. Once they are over, you can return to the Nightmare Cabin.
Step 2: Complete All Previous Nightmare Trials
Before the final trial becomes available, you must complete all the other Nightmare Trials with at least a Bronze rating.
Once you meet this requirement, return to the Nightmare Cabin. A message will appear confirming that a new Nightmare Trial has been unlocked.
Go to the shelf and interact with the phoenix carving that Jean gave Logan. This starts the final gauntlet, called Best There Is.
Step 3: Complete the Best There Is Trial
The Best There Is gauntlet is a tougher Nightmare Trial that throws different enemy types and challenges at you. You don’t need to achieve the highest rank. A Bronze rating is enough to unlock the secret ending.
Watch the Secret Ending
Once you complete Best There Is with at least a Bronze rating, leave the Nightmare Cabin through its door.
Instead of returning to the normal area. Then the player will be taken to a new location where you can experience the hidden ending of Marvel’s Wolverine. Completing this final sequence also unlocks the Repressed Memories Trophy.
