This Gears of War: E-Day guide covers all 5 Hard Case locations in Act 5. Follow this gameplay walkthrough to find every Hard Case across the act and collect all 5 without missing any during your playthrough.
Hard Case 1 (Chapter 1)
Both Hard Cases are in the train yard and must be collected before you board the train. Crawl through the hole in the wall and head right. The first Hard Case is near the iron fence, across from the building on the left.
Hard Case 2 (Chapter 1)
Continue along the same path to the end, then look to your right to find the Hard Case on a ledge, between military boxes.
Hard Case 3 (Chapter 2)
At the start of the chapter, follow the sloped path up the ramp. You’ll find the collectible at the top, next to a yellow car.
Hard Case 4 (Chapter 2)
From the previous collectible, head left to find the Hard Case near the drugstore.
Hard Case 5 (Chapter 2)
After exiting the hospital and completing the mortar fire section, continue forward to find the Hard Case near a truck.
