How to get the Kokiri Sword in Zelda: Ocarina of Time
To get the Kokiri Sword, head to the fenced-in area in the southwestern part of Kokiri Forest. Look for a tunnel in the wall and crawl inside.
After coming out of the tunnel, turn left to find a maze with a large rolling boulder. You will also spot a treasure chest on a raised platform in the middle of the area. Carefully avoid the boulder as you make your way around the maze. Climb up the platform and open the chest to get the Kokiri Sword.
How to get the Kokiri Shield in Zelda: Ocarina of Time
To get the Deku Shield, visit the shop in the centre of Kokiri Forest, located opposite Link’s Treehouse. You can buy the wooden shield from the shopkeeper for 40 Rupees. If you don’t have enough Rupees, explore the village and collect them.
