This guide will help players complete all objectives of the side quest A Cure for Rage in Avowed, where you’ll need to track down a missing caravan of Aedyran traders.
Stating Location
Upon arriving in the Galawain’s Tusks area, follow the main road until you come across an NPC named Warden Lerae. Speak with her, and she will inform you that the caravan has not yet returned from Solace. She then asks you to locate them and check on the well-being of a dwarf named Gilyn.
Locate the Missing caravan
After speaking with Warden Lerae, continue along the path until you come across two Stone Beetles near scattered debris and corpses. Defeat them, then follow the tracks leading to a crashed cart lodged against the wall.
Find Gilyn
From here, head to the right to reach Grakhor’s cave. Enter the cave to find Gilyn being held captive by a Grakhor.
Find the Recipe for the Ogre’s Cure
Speak with the Grakhor, who will explain that the caravan attacked him first. He will also reveal that he is gravely ill and dying. Agree to help him.
To find a cure for the Grakhor, exit the cave and head north. Turn left toward the debris, where you’ll discover a destroyed cart on a ledge. There, you’ll find a book titled Common Ailments Among the Denizens of Galawain’s Tusks.
Return to the cave and show the book to the Grakhor. Next, you’ll need to gather the ingredients for his cure. Speak with Gilyn to learn more about the necessary ingredients.
Jar of Gunpowder Snuff
Head to the second floor of Southern Warden Tower. You will find the ‘Jar of Gunpowder Snuff’ on the bench near the dining table.
Anti Mycotic Moss
Head southeast of the Southern Warden Tower. Check the roots of the tree with red leaves to find Anti Mycotic Moss.
Calcified Beetle Nest Nodule
Head southwest of the Southern Warden Tower and examine the rocks covered in green moss.
Return to the Ogre
With all three ingredients in hand, return to Grakhor in the cave and select ingredient. He will then release Gilyn and the quest end here.
