This guide shows how to complete the “Absence of a Sign” Side Quest in chapter 10 in the Corel Region of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, released on 29th February 2024.

Starting Location: Absence of a Sign
Head to the “Planetology Assembly” in the Cosmo Canyon village to find Caesar (NPC). Speak to him and he will ask for assistance with spotting and photographing celestial phenomena.
In this sidequest, the player is tasked with taking three Celestial Phenomena photos around the Cosmo Canyon region and defeating a strong fiend before taking a picture of the sky.
Photograph celestial phenomena (1/3)
The first place is marked on the map. There, fight a large scorpion enemy named “Reapertail”. Following the fight, you are asked to take a photograph.
Photograph celestial phenomena (2/3)
The next location is southeast of the previous one. Use the flying chocobo from Side Quest: Bonds of Trust to fly down the ramp at Kamaria’s Ranch. Defeat the enemy “Reapertail” and take a picture.
Photograph celestial phenomena (3/3)
The next location is northeast of the previous one. Defeat the enemy “Reapertail” and take a picture.
Report to Caeser
Return to the Planetology Assembly and talk with Caesar to end the quest.
