AC Valhalla: You can use Diplomacy to Resolve Quests Instead of Combat & Assassinations

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is the 12th main installment of the Assassin’s Creed series, is set to be released later this year. With latest information coming in, the game is going to bring some major changes in the core gameplay mechanics from the previous titles in the series. Two of the most important changes being introduction of settlements and diplomacy system.

In an interview to Kotaku, game’s creative director, Ashraf Ismail, said about the settlement that it will be a place full of life and unique characters that the player will be able to explore gradually.

The other big change in the game is the structure of the quests that we are given. Quests will be less focussed on combat and assassinations and we will be able to use diplomacy to achieve our goals.

The previous title in the series, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, also brought some key changes in the gameplay mechanics which received a mixed response from the fans. Its yet to be seen how the fans react to these changes, but the game will definitely attract some new players to the series.
