This walkthrough will show you how to complete the objective “Activate the device and open the gate” in the world quest The Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears. The Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears is the second part of The Dirge of Bilqis World Quest series.
At the temple’s gate, you will meet Azariq & Jeht. Jeth will inform us that our objective is to find the fragment of the Mother of the Jinn in order to be accepted into the Eternal Oasis at the desert’s heart. Matriarch Babel needs the aid of the Jinni to restore fertility to our tribe’s soil, which will maintain the health of our herds. To enter the ruins, travelers need to handle these mysterious devices.
After the conversation, the traveler needs to activate the device in front of the gate to open it. You will find a Rune Mechanism that will generate energy to remove the sand piles when unlocked.
To open the gate of the temple, attack the Rune Mechanism to change the direction in which it projects its energy. Hit the mechanism until it projects the energy to the left directly onto the sand covering the cube mechanism.
Start the mechanism after clearing the sand from it to open the temple’s gate.
