Black Myth Wukong: All Loong Boss Locations
This guide shows the location of 4 secret Loong Bosses in Black Myth: Wukong, released on 20 August 2024. On defeating them all, you will get the Yellow Loong Transformation Spell. And it also unlocks The Sire and Sons Trophy/ Achievement.
Step 1: Get Loong Scales in Chapter 2
Location: Sandgate Village > Valley of Despair
Proceed to the Valley of Despair Shrine in Chapter 2. Go to the right of the shrine and enter the cave. Follow the path inside and drop down at the end.
Turn around to find a stone wall as shown in the picture below. Break the wall using a powerful attack, such as the Wandering White Spirit Ability or Dust’s Final Move. After breaking the wall, enter inside and loot the Loong Scales from the chest as shown in the second picture below.
Note: If this is your first visit then you may encounter the Boss – First Prince of Flowing Sands, based on the outcome of earlier Duo-Boss fights in Chapter 2.
Step 2: Defeat Red Loong behind the waterfall in Chapter 1
Location: Forest of Wolves> Outside the Forest
For this go to the ‘Outside the Forest’ shrine in the ‘Forest of Wolves’.Start at the shrine and take a left before a large stone.
Hug to the right side and keep moving until you come to a fork with a pillar and a chest. Head left to spot the waterfall in the distance.
Then, go down the hill, cross the stream, and take the first left to arrive at the waterfall as shown in the second picture below. Use the Loong Scale to unlock the path behind the waterfall. Go inside the secret area behind the waterfall and defeat the secret boss Red Loong.
Step 3: Defeat Black Loong behind the Sandfall in Chapter 2
Location: Rockrest Flat > Yellow Wind Ridge
In Chapter 2, go to the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine in Yellow Wind Ridge, turn right, and go up the stone stairs. You will see the sandfall at a distance.
Use the Loong Scale to unlock the path behind it. Go into the hidden area and defeat the secret boss, Black Loong.
Step 4: Defeat Cyan Loong in Chapter 3
Travel to Bitter Lake: Turtle Island shrine in Chapter 3 (The New West). From the shrine, go in the direction shown in the pictures below to find Cyan Loong. He will be in a statue form as shown in the second picture below. If you are carrying Loong Scale with you, then he will wake up and initiate a fight. Open the chest after defeating him to get Mind Core.
Step 5: Defeat Yellow Loong in Chapter 4
Yellow Loong will spawn only if you have defeated the other 3 Loond Bosses. To reach Yellow Loong’s location, travel to Webbed Hollow: Cliff of Oblivion shrine in Chapter 4. Enter the tunnel next to the shrine as shown in the picture below.
Continue ahead and soon you will reach a small hand bridge. Cross the bridge and jump down ahead. Then turn around and continue in the opposite direction as shown in the picture below.
Soon you will reach a fork as shown in the picture below. Turn left at the fork and jump down. Then turn right and cross the bridge as shown in the second picture below.
Continue ahead and soon you will reach a cocoon bridge as shown in the picture below. You can use the Cloud Step spell to turn invisible and cross the bridge.
Proceed ahead and soon you will reach a forest. After entering the forest, turn left and climb up the stairs as shown in the picture below. Proceed ahead hugging the left wall.
Soon you will reach the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine as shown in the pictures below. Climb up the stairs near the shrine to reach Yellow Loong boss. Defeat him to get the Golden Lining spell, which allows you to transform into Yellow Loong. This also unlocks The Sire and Sons Trophy/ Achievement.
