The Alchemy Exam is a special exam given by Sucrose to travelers to make a special potion during the Alchemical Ascension event in Genshin Impact 4.5. Below are the steps to pass the Alchemy Exam with the image of the potion.
Beginner Exam ( Unlocks at Cycles 11 – 13)
The Alchemy Exam includes a primary objective that must be completed to pass the exam successfully, as well as a side objective for additional rewards.
Primary Objectives
Concoct a potion of Intermediate or higher grade whose efficacies include Constitution.
Side Objectives
- The potion grade reaches Intermediate and the potion level reaches +5
- Potion displays at least 1 characteristics
- Use no more than 3 different types of ingredients

- Special Sweet flower x 2
- Special Berrier x 3
- Special Calla Lilly x 2
Intermediate Exam (Cycles 14 – 16)
Primary Objectives:
Concoct a potion with efficacies Strength and Dexterity both reaching grade Intermediate or higher
Side Objectives:
- The potion grade reaches Intermediate and the potion level reaches +8
- Potion displays at least 2 characteristics
- No more than 10 ingredients used

- Use at least 5 different types of ingredients
Advance Exam Solution:
Sucrose will ask you to create a potion of Advanced or higher grade whose efficacies include Wisdom.

- Special Sumeru Rose x 2 (Square shaped Block)

Expert Exam (Cycles 24-26)
Primary Objectives
Concoct a potion of Expert whose efficacies include Charisma.
Side Objectives
- The potion grade reaches Expert and the potion level reaches +8
- Potion displays “Perception” and “Steadying” characteristics
- Tuning Rate reaches 280%
Expert Exam Solution:
Before you try the expert exam, make sure to level up all the ingredients you plan to use to the highest level possible.
For the expert exam, try to use large ingredients mainly and only use small or medium ones to fill up the remaining space. You can overlay the large ingredients on top of other ingredients. Use all of them to reach the required Tuning Rate of 280%.
