The Cogheart is a powerful key item in Hollow Knight: Silksong, required to activate the Second Sentinel and progress deeper into the game’s story. In this guide, we’ll show you all Cogheart Piece locations and explain how to collect them.
Cogheart Piece 1 – Choral Chambers
The first Cogheart Piece can be found in the Choral Chambers. Refer to the map below.
How to Solve the Bell Puzzle #1
To solve the puzzle, watch the sequence in which the bells on the wall vibrate and ring, then strike them in the same order. You’ll need to repeat this process through three rounds. Once all three rounds are complete, the Cogheart Piece will appear in the center of the chamber.

Cogheart Piece 2 – Whispering Vaults
The second Cogheart Piece is located in the Whispering Vaults, inside the bottom-left room of the vertical shaft area.
Cogheart Piece 3 – Memorium
The Cogheart Puzzle in Memorium is located in the room to the right of the main hall.
Once you’ve collected all three Cogheart Pieces, you can insert them into the Second Sentinel located in the Cogwork Core. Doing so will reactivate the Sentinel, allowing you to interact with it and receive the Final Audience Wish.
