There are a total of 15 Criptograma Chests and 30 Criptograma Charts in Far Cry 6. Opening all the Criptograma Chests unlocks ‘That’s Puzzling’ trophy/ achievement. Criptograma Chests get marked on the map as you get near it. To open a Criptograma Chest you will need to find 2 Criptograma Charts nearby, which act as keys to open the chest. On opening the chest you will find a Piece of Armor.
You will find blue markings pointing towards the charts. There is also a wind chime near the chest and charts. You can follow the noise of the wind chime to locate them. This article shows the location of all 15 Criptograma Chests & 30 Criptograma Charts in the game.

1) Isla Santuario Criptograma Chest 1/1 and Criptograma Charts #1 & #6
Criptograma Chest in the Isla Santuaario region is in a small house northwest of Armonia as shown in the picture below.
Criptograma Chart #1 is inside a big pipe at the back of the house as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #6 is on the roof of the house as shown below.
2) Madrugada Chest 1/4 and Criptograma Charts #10 & #25
The Criptograma Chest is on the western coast of Poesia in the Costa Del Mar region of Madrugada at the location as shown in the picture below.
Criptograma Chart #10: The first chart is behind the big rock in the water west of the chest location as shown in the picture below.
Criptograma Chart #25: From the previous chart location, follow the blue markings and go south. Stop near the signboard as shown in the pictures below. Climb up the mountain near the signboard (See the third picture below). As you climb the rocky mountain, the chart will be right in front of you.
3) Madrugada Criptograma Chest 2/4 and Criptograma Charts #03 & #22
The Criptograma Chest is on the top of a small tower in El Dorado Cabins in the Costa Del Mar region of Madrugada as shown in the picture below. You can get to the top of the tower using your grapple hook.
Criptograma Chart #03: From the chest, take the path southeast as shown below. This will lead you to a small landmass on water, with the chart on a rock as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #22: From the previous chart, follow the blue marking to the southern tip of the coast, where you will find the chart on the mountain wall as shown below.
4) Madrugada Criptograma Chest 3/4 and Criptograma Charts #16 & #19
The Criptograma Chest is on the top of the billboard in Verdera town in the Lozania region in Madrugada as shown in the picture below.
Criptograma Chart #16: From the chest, follow the blue markings and go south. The chart is on the wall of the water tank on the house south of the billboard.
Criptograma Chart #19: From the previous chart, follow the blue markings and go further south. The chart is on the wall of the water tank as shown below.
5) Madrugada Criptograma Chest 4/4 and Criptograma Charts #28 & #12
The Criptograma Chest is on the northern coast of Aguas Lindas at the location as shown in the picture below. It is in the building near a dockside pickup point at the highlighted location.
Criptograma Chart #28: The first chart is on the island north of the chest location as shown below. Use the dockside pickup point to spawn a vehicle and go to the northern island to get the chart.
Criptograma Chart #12: From the previous chart, go to the island on the east. The chart is underwater on the western edge of the island. At the edge of the island, you will see a blue cloth hanging from a wooden platform as shown below. Jump down into the water from the wooden platform, and you will find the chart underwater on top of a blue plank as shown below.
6) Valle De Oro Chest 1/4 and Criptograma Charts #23 & #04
The Criptograma Chest is at the highlighted location in Feroza Town in the Balaceras region in Valle De Oro.
Criptograma Chart #23: From the chest, go right and enter the shipping container through a hole in the wall as shown below. The chart is on one of the walls of the container.
Criptograma Chart #04: Go further south and you will find the chart inside a destroyed car as shown below. Destroy the wooden pallets blocking the car to get the chart.
7) Valle De Oro Chest 2/4 and Criptograma Charts #09 & #26
The Criptograma Chest is in the flooded area in the Noventarmas region in Valle De Oro as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #09: The chart is on top of the old tower where the chest is. To get to the top of the tower, jump on the wooden platform at the right side of the chest. Then grapple the hook above and swing and jump on the ledge shown in the second picture below and go inside the tower. Instead of taking the stairs inside, jump out from the other side as shown in the third picture below. Then take the vines to climb up the tower. Then go inside the tower and grapple to reach the top floor. Here you will find the chart.
Criptograma Chart #26: From the top of the tower where you found the previous chart, jump down and go west. The chart is inside a small ruin as shown in the picture below. You can either jump to reach the upper floor of the ruin or dive down and enter through an underwater entrance. The diving spot will be marked with a blue icon.
8) Valle De Oro Chest 3/4 and Criptograma Charts #13 & #19
The Criptograma Chest is on the top of the watchtower in the fields Northwest of Segunda town in the Cruz Del Salvador region in Valle De Oro as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #13: The chart is inside a hole in the ground very close to the watchtower as shown below. Destroy the wooden covering on the hole then jump inside to get the chart.
Criptograma Chart #19: This chart is also inside a hole in the ground very close to the watchtower. This hole is near an oil tanker as shown below. Destroy the wooden covering on the hole then jump inside to get the chart.
9) Valle De Oro Chest 4/4 and Criptograma Charts #17 & #20
The Criptograma Chest is at the highlighted location in the town of Ruben in the Barrial region in Valle De Oro.
Criptograma Chart #17: On the west side of the chest, you will find a cave entrance. Enter the cave and go till the end until you reach the waters as shown below. Here you will find the chart.
Criptograma Chart #20: This chart is under the jetty at the northeast side of the chest as shown below.
10) El Este Criptograma Chest 1/4 and Criptograma Charts #21 & #18
The Criptograma Chest is at the roof of The People’s Pride Clinic in the La Joya region in El Este.
Criptograma Chart #21: The chart is on the rooftop of the building near the beach as shown below. You can climb to the rooftop using the scaffolding on the north side of the building.
Criptograma Chart #18: After you have got the previous chart, look south and chart #18 is at the top of the building shown below. Jump down and go to the center of the apartment complex. Use the grapple to reach the roof of the building next to the building with chart #18. From there, use the zipline to reach the roof with Chart #18.
11) El Este Criptograma Chest 2/4 and Criptograma Charts #05 & #24
The Criptograma Chest is on top of a roof in Concepción in the Conuco region in El Este as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #05: From the chest location, jump on the roof on the north side. Then jump down into the courtyard. The chart is inside the room in front of the staircase as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #24: This chart is on the top of the roof at the northeastern edge of Concepción. From the previous chart, climb up the staircase to reach the roof. Then use the zipline to reach the building on the east side. The chart is on the roof of the building on the north side as shown below.
12) El Este Criptograma Chest 3/4 and Criptograma Charts #14 & #30
The Criptograma Chest is on the jetty in the Barriga Swamps in the Sierra Perdida region in El Este.
Criptograma Chart #14: The first chart is on a hut north of the chest as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #30: This chart is on a hut at the western edge of the swamp as shown below.
13) El Este Criptograma Chest 4/4 and Criptograma Charts #27 & #07
The Criptograma Chest is north of Higado Lake in the Sierra Perdida region in El Este as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #27: The chart is on the wall of a hut south of the lake as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #07: This chart is inside an enclosure northwest of the previous chart. You will have to destroy the door of the enclosure to go inside it.
14) Esperanza Criptograma Chest 1/2 and Criptograma Charts #08 & #15
This Criptograma Chest is at the highlighted location in the Esperanza region.
Criptograma Chart #08: Grapple up to the ledge on the left side of the chest. Climb up the ladder on the ledge to reach the upper level. Jump down to the next rooftop as shown below. Here you will find chart #08 on the wall.
Criptograma Chart #15: On the right side of the chart you will see a zipline. Use the zipline to reach the building on the west side as shown below. Climb the vines here, to reach the rooftop. Here you will find chart #15.
15) Esperanza Criptograma Chest 2/2 and Criptograma Charts #02 & #11
This Criptograma Chest is on the rooftop north of the La Divinidad Cathedra in the Esperanza region as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #11: This chart is on the balcony of the cathedral. To reach there, Jump on the roof at the right side of the chest and then continue south on the roof. Then jump from the ramp to reach the cathedral balcony as shown below.
Criptograma Chart #02: Enter the cathedral through the door on the balcony where you got the previous chart. Exit the cathedral from the door on the east side of the same floor as shown below. Here you will see a ramp. Use the ramp to jump to the roof of the building further east. On this roof, you will find the chart.
