Emotional Baggage is collectibles in Psychonauts 2 that can be found in each level. These are the person’s emotional baggage, which is represented as various types of bags, all of which cry relentlessly. In order to collect emotional baggage at any level, you must first locate the tag elsewhere in that level.

#01 – Loboto’s Labyrinth Duffle Bag
Tag: The Dufflebag tag is located in the first office space right near the desks with stacks of paper.
Baggage: It’s also located in the same office area. Dufflebag is placed on top of a photocopy machine, near the stairs where Coach Oleander instructs Raz to open the teeth door.
#02 – Loboto’s Labyrinth Hat Box
Tag: The Hatbox tag is located inside the second teeth door that you will enter. Behind the door is a long conference room with a long twisted table. You will find the tag near the long table before meeting Sasha.
Baggage:
Further in the level, Sasha asks you to look behind the Golden door lying on the ground. On the other side of the door, you will meet Lili who will ask your help to burn posters in the large room. At this stage, you will also get ‘Pyrokinesis’ ability to set things on fire.
Burn Lili’s Poster to find an even bigger room. Halfway through this room, a giant portrait of Dr. Loboto (on the left) can be found covering a small hole in the wall. Burn it to reveal a small room containing the hatbox.
#03 – Loboto’s Labyrinth Purse
Tag: The Purse tag is available in the Dental Void area. You can collect this after learning the ‘Levitation’ ability from Milla. It’s located on the top of a dental mirror on the right-hand side. Players can reach the location by using levitate ability and using the nearby updraft.
Baggage:
The Purse is located in the Poster Gallery area (on the second visit) after learning Pyrokinesis ability. Following the way to the end of the section to find an office. You will find a Purse placed on top of a shelf.
#04 – Loboto’s Labyrinth Suitcase
Tag: The tag is located in the Asylum area. When you are at the Dental void area you will see a pink color washbasin at the end (left), with a hole in it. Drop down the hole to pass through the tunnel of teeth and it leads to Asylum. Head to the left to collect the tag floating on a teeth platform
Baggage:
The Suitcase can be found in the conference room. A poster of an open mouth framed over a hole can be found near the entrance to the conference room. Use Pyrokinesis ability to burn the poster, and you’ll find the suitcase inside the small room.
#05 – Loboto’s Labyrinth Steamer Trunk
Tag: The tag can be found in the Dental Void, where you learned Levitation. It’s located on the top of a dental mirror on the left-hand side. You won’t be able to get there until you learn Mental Connection from Hollis’ Hot Streak level. Return to this area after gaining that ability and use Mental Connection to reach the tag.
Baggage:
The Steamer Trunk is located in the Asylum area. There is a teeth floating platform on the right that can only be reached by using Mental Connection. Use Mental Connection ability to reach the platform and collect the Steamer Trunk and Memory Vault.
#06 Hollis’ Classroom Steamer Trunk
Tag: Steamer Trunk Tag can be found in the classroom at the very beginning of the level. The moment you enter Hollis’ mind by talking to her, you’ll be inside the classroom. Tag is sitting on top of a desk. You just need to jump over to the other row in the classroom to collect it.
After collecting the tag progress ahead in the level, and you will eventually reach the entrance of a hospital.
Baggage:
Steamer Trunk Emotional Baggage is located on the hospital’s rooftop. Use the Mental Connection ability to reach the roof of the hospital’s entrance from the front area of the hospital building. The Steamer Trunk Emotional Baggage can be found behind the pipe on the roof.
#07 – Hollis’ Classroom Hat Box
Tag: Hollis’ Classroom’s Hatbox tag is on the hospital’s rooftop. Use the Mental Connection ability to reach the roof of the hospital’s entrance from the hospital’s front area. A metal vent can be found in the corner opposite the pipes. Tag is placed on top of a vent, which you must climb onto in order to grab.
Baggage: The Hatbox can be found outside the hospital, near a garbage box in the righthand corner. Return to the ground floor after collecting the tag from the rooftop, and look for the Hatbox near a green garbage box.
#08 – Hollis’ Hot Streak Purse
Tag: The Purse tag is located in the Maternity section only. Enter the maternity section and, as soon as you exit the vent you’ll see Mental Connection blips behind you. Use your Mental Connection ability to get on top of the pipe/vent and travel back. You will find the purse tag at the end of the vent.
Baggage:
Purse is located in the “Records” section only of the cuboid-shaped vault. Drop down the vault and take the first right, Purse is located at the end of the vault’s corridor near a garbage box.
#09 – Hollis’ Hot Streak Dufflebag
Tag:
The Dufflebag tag is only available in the Maternity section. Follow the path to the large wheel, where you will encounter a couple (Rich Dad & Rich Mom). Select the option to assist the wealthy couple in unrigging the Maternity roulette wheel. To unrig the wheel, connect to the Money idea node with your Mental Connections power and chain the idea until you’re behind the roulette wheel. You’ll reach a new area behind the wheel where chips are rotating near a dice tower. To proceed, jump on a chip, and it will take you to the Dufflebag tag.
Baggage:
Maternity Ward: You will find the baggage at the very top of the neon dice beside the Maternity roulette wheel. You need Dark Thought upgrade, which is a level 4 upgrade of Mental Connection ability. Dark Thought upgrade is available after Level 30 in the game.
#10 – Hollis’ Hot Streak Suitcase
Tag: The Suitcase Tag can be found on the roof of the hospital in the left side corner. Use the Mental Connection ability to reach the roof of the hospital’s entrance from the front area of the hospital building.
Baggage: The Suitcase can be found in the Cardiology section. The baggage is placed on the table of one of the booths. I have attached an image for reference.
#11 – Compton’s Cookoff Dufflebag Tag & Dufflebag
To get the Dufflebag Tag, go on the path at the right side of the mystery boxes. Jump down on the trampoline at the end of the path. Use the memory connect here to reach the Dufflebag tag.
The Dufflebag is on the right side of the Pork Chopper as shown in the pictures below.
#12 – Compton’s Cookoff Hatbox Tag & Hatbox
The tag is at the end of the rail in front of the pork chopper as shown in the picture below.
The hatbox is at the top of the audience stand left to the path leading to the pork chopper.
#13 – Compton’s Cookoff Purse Tag & Purse
Purse tag is on one of the audience stands as shown below.
Purse is in front of the fry station as shown in the picture below. It is inside the loop in front of the fryer.
#14 – Compton’s Cookoff Suitcase Tag & Suitcase
The suitcase tag is behind the frying station. Jump at the top of the frog head, from there you can see the tag floating above in the air as shown in the picture below. Jump to get the tag.
The suitcase is in front of the hippo boiling pot as shown in the picture below. Take the path on the right side of the mystery boxes and then jump down to get it.
#15 – Compton’s Cookoff Steamer Trunk Tag & Steamer Trunk
You will get Streamer Trunk Tag by completing round 3 of the cooking challenge within the time limit. If you fail, retry to get the tag.
Note: Some steam players are facing a bug where they are unable to collect the tag
Steamer Trunk is behind the blender as shown in the picture below.
#16 – Ford’s Follicles Steamer Trunk
Tag:
The Steamer Trunk Tag can be found where you first encounter pompadour-ed Censors. As shown in the image, it is floating on a small step.
Baggage:
Baggage is after the courtyard with the statue. Defeat the censors and proceed to the next platform, where you will find a Steamer Trunk near a bottle.
#17 – Strike City Suitcase
Tag: The Suitcase tag can be found in a slime-infested area. A worker will request your assistance in lowering the crane with the ball polisher. Once the crane is lowered, the player can proceed to a new area filled with thick green slime. Navigate to the back of the area and retrieve the Suitcase tag from behind the yeast van.
Baggage:
The Suitcase can be obtained later in the game. You will arrive at a large construction site just before Lover’s Lane. Stay on the first floor, go to the back of the room (on the right) and look for bowling pins hidden beneath a ramp. Knock the pins down to reveal the Suitcase hidden behind them.
#18 – Strike City Duffelbag
Tag:
You will come to a big sign “JOE’S”, making their way across the precarious obstacle. Jump down through the middle of the O and it will land the player on a nearby rooftop. You will find the Duffelbag tag on the roof.
Baggage
The bag can be found near the beginning of this level. Return back using Collective Unconscious and simply follow the main mission’s path until you reach the area with the first ball polisher. Duffelbag is positioned behind the polisher ball.
#19 – PSI King’s Sensorium Purse Tag & Purse
The purse tag is above a van in the backstage area as shown in the picture below. You can get it right at the start of the level.
You will find the purse in the Concessions area. You can reach here by driving the bus. In the Concessions take the rope to reach an area with a sea of crows. Here you can a rotating platform with a watchtower ahead of it as shown in the picture below. Take the path behind the watchtower to reach the purse.
#20 – PSI King’s Sensorium Hatbox Tag & Hatbox
You will get Hatbox Tag in the Vision Section (The First Section) of the level. After fighting with the panic attack, move ahead. Here you will have to pass through three rotating fans. After the third fan, you will see a poster as shown in the picture below. Burn the poster to get the tag.
You will get Hatbox in the Woods. You can get here by driving the bus. Go straight from the location where the Vision is standing. Take the first left and you will find the hatbox between two tents as shown in the picture below.
#21 – PSI King’s Sensorium Dufflebag Tag & Dufflebag
Dufflebag Tag can be found in the Concessions area. You can reach here by driving the bus. The tag is behind a Sold Out van at the start of the location as shown in the picture below.
Dufflebag is in the Eye Shrine section. After crossing the second bridge of light you will see a stack of speakers. Go behind it and get the Dufflebag inside a hole between the stack. This is the same area where you fight “Panic Attack”. You cannot collect this in your first playthrough, since you won’t have the tag.
#22 – PSI King’s Sensorium Steamer Trunk Tag & Steamer Trunk
You will get the Steamer Trunk in the Nose & Mouth Shrine section of the level. You will come to an area where you will have to jump over two fishes. Right after that, the tag is on the main path and impossible to miss.
Steamer Trunk is in the Ear & Hand Shrine section of the level. Here at the end of the area, you will fight a bunch of enemies on a platform as shown in the picture below. Before jumping onto the platform, turn right to see the Steamer Trunk as shown below. Jump across to get it.
#23 – PSI King’s Sensorium Suitcase Tag & Suitcase
You will find Suitcase Tag in the woods section. In this section, you will find a waterfall with wood logs floating on it as shown in the picture below. Use Time Bubble ability on the wood log to cross the water. After that, you will have to climb the mountain using the vines to reach Dr. Touch at the mountain top. Instead of going to the top of the mountain, go around the side to reach the tag (See the second picture below).
The suitcase is in the Backstage section. You cannot get it on your first visit as you do not have the tag. Revisit backstage and go underneath the stage as shown in the picture below to get the suitcase.
#24 – Cruller’s Correspondence Hatbox Tag & Hatbox
Tag:
The Hatbox Tag can be found immediately after the first Dead Letter’s Office. As you leave the first Dead Letter’s office, you’ll notice that more letters are being shot to different parts of the level. The tag can be reached by platforming to a pink Figment. To obtain the Hatbox Tag, turn left and swing on the pin.
Baggage:
Hatbox emotional baggage can be found at the International Dead Letters Office. As soon as you enter the office, look to your left to see the Hatbox perched above boxes.
#25 – Sharkophagus Collectibles Purse
Tag:
After the third drop, the Purse tag can be found on top of a whale drifting by. Use Time Bubble to slow down the whale and then jump on top of him to collect the tag.
Baggage:
The Purse for this level can be found right at the bottom of the level. Once Raz gets up in a coffin-like area and two skeletons sleeping on the bed. The Purse is placed behind the Astralathe as shown in the below image.
#26 – Cassie’s Collection Purse
Tag:
The purse tag is located in the Math area, a room with maths equations. This area comes after meeting the Librarian. You will reach this area after acquiring Projection ability from Teacher Cassie. After the fight, use the table and a stack of books on the left side to reach the higher platform( also the exit path from this room). You will find the Purse tag there.
Baggage:
Purse is also located in the same Math Area. Climb up on the right side of the room to find the knight and the dragon. Purse is placed on the wooden railing.
#27 – Cassie’s Collection Dufflebag
Tag:
At the dock, Snake Cop will ask you to collect three pieces of evidence and for this, you need to visit three different areas from the dock. The Dufflebag Tag is located printing area. After defeating all of the enemies at the top of the area, you’ll see a locked door that can be open using projection. The tag is inside the locked door.
Baggage:
The Dufflebag is located on the docks. As you reach the dock area, go down to the docks on the right side and you’ll find the Dufflebag crying in the corner behind boxes. I have attached a screenshot for this.
#28 – Cassie’s Collection Hatbox
Tag:
The Hatbox is located in the Cannery area. It’s placed right behind the ink waterfall, before the door.
Bag:
The Hatbox is placed on a platform in the middle of the lake. It is on the match to the market area.
#29 – Cassie’s Collection Suitcase
Tag:
The Suitcase tag location is the area that comes where you find the purse Tag. This is the second area after learning Projection ability. This area will be having books as a platform and a few of the books have windmills in them. Tag is located close to the big white pillars/columns. Use Mental Connection in this room to reach the suitcase tag or can use up-drift after passing the windmill to glide to the tag location.
Baggage:
The Suitcase can be found in the first room where you meet the librarian. It’s placed on top of the book stack.
#30 – Cassie’s Collection Steamer Trunk
Tag:
The Steamer Trunk Tag is located just before reaching the Marketplace. Just before jumping on the Marketplace area, you will find a windmill and some bookmarks on the left. Jump across the bookmarks platform to reach the Steamer Trunk Tag.
Baggage:
It is located in the first room where you meet the librarian version of Cassie. In the room, there is a chandelier with a globe. Navigate your way to the chandelier. Pull a lever on the ground below using the Projection ability from the chandelier. This lever will move the globe closer to the ceiling for a short period of time. When the chandelier gets close to the top, jump forward to a platform. Go to the Left of the platform/balcony to find the Steamer Trunk.
#31 – Bob’s Bottles Dufflebag Tag & Dufflebag
During the mission, you will enter a red bottle (Tia’s Kitchen). Inside the red bottle, you will meet Bob, who will be floating upside down from the claws of a bird. Floating Bob will create a path for you. Follow the path. After crossing two platforming sections you will reach an area where you will see Bob floating upside down from a vine. In this area, you will find the Dufflebag up on a platform. The Dufflebag tag is behind a refrigerator, which is above a platform as shown in the picture below.
#32 – Bob’s Bottles Purse Tag & Purse
Proceed ahead from the Dufflebag location mentioned above. Shortly you will reach a kitchen. After the kitchen, you will again see Bob floating in the air. Follow him as the floating Bob creates the path. In this region, you will have to jump on a tree stump as shown below. Here you can see the Purse tag on one side and a couple of straw sticks on the other as shown in the picture below. Use the stick to reach the purse on top of a mountain(See the second picture below).
#33 – Bob’s Bottles Hatbox Tag & Hatbox
Hatbox Tag and Hatbox are on Bob’s Island. After you start rowing the Door-Shaped-Boat, go straight to reach the island with the red bottle. On the left of this island, you will find another island with a girl named Lilly on it. On this island, you will find both Hatbox Tag and Hatbox.
#34 – Bob’s Bottles Steamer Trunk Tag & Steamer Trunk
You will Steamer Trunk Tag on the island with the blue bottle. It will be sitting right next to some big rocks near the water.
The Steamer Trunk is on an island with a man named Truman Zanotto on it. In front of him, you will see a wooden platform with the Streamer Trunk at its end.
#35 – Bob’s Bottles Suitcase Tag & Suitcase
The Suitcase Tag is in the Viking Reception area inside the blue bottle. After climbing up to the reception area, turn around to see a large cake. The tag is at the top of the cake at the center of three candles as shown in the picture below.
The suitcase is on the left side of the reception stage as highlighted with a black arrow in the picture below.
#36 – Lucrecia’s Lament Suitcase Tag
Note: On Lucrecia’s Lament level, you will get all the baggage at the end of the level. So first, Tag locations are only mentioned. After that, all five Baggage location is shown.
You will get the Suitcase Tag in the first area, Flea Circus. After you have completed all the rides, Nona will ask you to climb the ladder to the top as shown in the picture below. After climbing to the top, instead of jumping down, go to the right. You will find the Suitcase Tag there, behind the Big Flea Circus billboard. You will get the baggage at the end of the level.
#37 – Lucrecia’s Lament Steamer Trunk Tag
You will find the Steamer Trunk Tag in the first quilted area. Right at the start of the quilted area, you will get the Steamer Trunk Tag on the left side, before crossing the river. You will get the baggage at the end of the level.
#38 – Lucrecia’s Lament Hatbox Tag
Hatbox Tag is at the end of the first quilted area. It is behind the door leading to the second quilted area as shown in the picture below. You will get the baggage at the end of the level.
#39 – Lucrecia’s Lament Purse Tag
You will find the Purse Tag in the third quilted area. Right after entering this area, turn around and you can see the tag right behind the door you just walked through. You will get the baggage at the end of the level.
#40 – Lucrecia’s Lament Dufflebag Tag
Dufflebag Tag is in the third and final quilted section. At the right side of the path, you will find a button sewn into the ground. Remove the button using your Telekinesis ability. This will open up a tunnel. Enter the tunnel to get the tag. You will get the baggage at the end of the level.

All the five baggage are in the final area, the Mental Dam. They are sitting right in front of the big locket that you have to interact with as part of the main story.
#41 – Fatherland Follies HatBox
Tag:
After getting down from the first ride, look for the Mental connection bubble and use it to ascend to the higher level of the building containing the royal family statue. Go behind the clouds and use rope trampolines to get to the top, where Hatbox Tag can be found.
Baggage:
After obtaining the tag, proceed to the statues of Ford and Maligula in the adjoining room where the royal family statue is located. A secret room can be found beneath Maligula’s feet. Follow the track in and complete the go past the fast rotating platforms using Time Bubble. The Hatbox can be found at the end.
#42 – Fatherland Follies Dufflebag
Tag:
There is a small door with a red bulb near the end of the first ride. Enter a new room by going inside the door. Destroy the glittery wall inside the room. Use the Dark Thought upgrade for your Mental Connection power to get to the end of the wooden platform with the Tag on it.
Baggage:
This bag can only be found after exiting the first ride. Locate the Mental connection bubble and use it to ascend to the higher level of the building that houses the royal family statue. Proceed to the adjacent room and turn left. As shown in the image, there is a section where the family is fleeing. The Dufflebag is positioned in the background, near massive pillars.
#43 – Fatherland Follies Purse
Tag: After getting down from the second ride, head to the giant painting where you can change the mural around. below is the image of the poster. Make it an ice-themed painting and jump through the hole on the poster. You will find the Purse tag there.
Baggage:
The Purse can be found in the second part of the ride, You will arrive at a location with a character on a death bed. You can find the purse on the left-hand side of the bed.
#44 – Fatherland Follies Suitcase
Tag:
After the second ride, you will speak with Propagandaneer. Following the cutscene, you will enter a new area leading to a graveyard. The suitcase tag can be found on the left, behind a grave.
Baggage:
The Suitcase can be found in the gift shop at the end of the level. You’ll have to return to get it, though.
#45 – Fatherland Follies Steamer Trunk
Tag:
The Steamer Trunk can be found on the ride’s Whispering Rock section. You’ll find yourself in an open area, fighting enemies in front of fans. After the battle, enter a small door with a red bulb to access a new area. Follow those Mental Connections until you come across a memory of Loboto stealing the brain of agent Zanotto. To find the tag, follow those Mental Connections behind them.
Baggage:
The Steamer Trunk is located on the Whispering Rock section of the ride. Follow Mental Connections and take the first the right. You’ll find the Steamer Trunk there.
