This guide shows how to solve all the Fire Torch Puzzles in the Minacious Isle of Genshin Impact 2.8 Summertime Odyssey event, which started on 15th July 2022 and will end on 24th August 2022.
Fire Torch Puzzle #1
Go to the location shown in the picture below. Here you will find 4 torches. You need to light the torches in the sequence of the elevation of stars in the constellation as shown in the second and third pictures below. On lighting the torches in the correct sequence, you will get a common chest.
Fire Torch Puzzle #2
Go to the location shown in the picture below. Here you will find 4 torches. Light the first and third torches from the left as shown in the pictures below to unlock the common chest there.
Fire Torch Puzzle #3 (Quest Related- Secret Chamber)
This one is part of the Thus Was the Work Done in Vain quest. As you enter the secret chamber, its gate will close. Inside the chamber, you will see three torches. Light them up in an anti-clockwise fashion (Starting with the one on the right corner) to open the gate.
Fire Torch Puzzle #4 (Ruin 1st Floor Chamber)
You will find this one too during the Thus Was the Work Done in Vain quest. There are 4 torches here. Light them in an anti-clockwise fashion as shown in the picture below. The fourth torch is behind some rocks that you should break beforehand. You need to light the four torches within a certain time limit to complete the puzzle. On completion, you will get an exquisite chest.
Fire Torch Puzzle #5 (Quest Related- Ruin 2nd Floor Secret Chamber)
This one also is part of the Thus Was the Work Done in Vain quest. As you enter the 2nd-floor secret chamber, the gate will close and you will be locked inside. Here you will see three torches and a big stone blocking the path as shown in the picture below. First, break the big rock to reveal the fourth torch behind it. Then use an Anemo character to remove the purple mark from torches 1 and 3 as shown below. Then light the torches 1-2-3-4 in this sequence. This will open the gate.
